Plant Sale
While making room for new plants or having been inspired by Bernie to rearrange garden beds, please pot up extra plants and divisions for our May, 11th. Plant Sale. Seedlings, houseplants, bulbs, tubers etc are also wanted.
When labelling plants for the sale please include the name and, if known, colour of bloom, growth preferences, size and habit. If plants are potted up well before the sale, they will be happily established by the big day.
If you need soil for potting, Jennifer Forrest has a pile in front of her house, 375 Chemainus Rd. which she has generously offered to share. As Jennifer said, “Look for the ugly blue tarp.”
At the April meeting, the sign up list for helping at the sale will be distributed.
On the evening of Friday, May 10th, bring in your sale offerings and once the set-up and pricing has been completed, members will have the opportunity to make advanced purchases. On Saturday, May 11th, before and during the sale event, helpers should not expect to set aside plants for themselves.
Thanks in advance to the helping hands and all the member support of this major fundraiser.
As well as plants and seedlings, the following donations would be much appreciated:
Raffle prizes
used or unneeded garden tools, garden related equipment or garden ornaments
For the April 18th meeting, please remember to bring your mug for the break, return library books, and, if you can, donate to the Food Bank box.

Just checking to find out if the next meeting will be held on Nov 15? I am relatively new to Ladysmith and am interested in learning more about the garden club.
Thank you,
Linda

Granted I’m slow BUT could we have a brighter green for the minutes link as I find it too close to the black text. This is a great idea, thanks.
