With all the snow and wintery weather this month, it is a stretch of the imagination to envision new gardening season. Back by popular demand is our speaker,Tanya Pickrell, who inspired us in November 2017 with her decorating tips and her creation of a stunning entryway arrangement which Tanya donated as a door prize.Tanya’s Nitty Gritty Greenhouse has been renamed the Olde Thyme Food Garden. She will speak on the topic of Organic Gardening and Heritage Tomatoes, helping us grow great organic edibles in lovely food gardens, both pretty and practical. Tanya’s specialty is the growing of Heritage Tomatoes.
Business Items: Our March 21st meeting will include preparation points for our annual Plant Sale which will be May 11th this year. Sign Up sheets for set-up on May 10th and the on the day of the sale will be circulated at the March meeting at which time volunteers for a Plant Sale Committee will be appreciated. Keep the SALE in mind as you sow, divide, propagate or rescue plants from others.
