The Ladysmith Saltair Garden Club will meet on Thursday, May 18th
Lower Meeting Room of the Frank Jameson Community Centre,
810- 6th Ave, Ladysmith.
Doors open 6:30pm Meeting begins at 7pm.
Our presenter will be Diane Pierce speaking on Drought Resistant Plants. Given our climate extremes of late, Diane offers information that can help a gardener through those hot, dry periods.
Diane, with a BSc in Agriculture, worked for 10 years as a gardener with the City of Victoria Parks Dept. She is now semi retired and consults as a landscape designer & consultant and teaches at the Horticulture Centre of the Pacific where she also volunteers in the Mixed Borders.
