Garden Club Sale Information

Our plant sale on the second Saturday in May (May 9th this year) is a very important fund raiser for the club.

Please consider volunteering to help out with the sale when the sign-up sheet is circulated at the April meeting.

When labeling plants for the sale please include the name of the plant and if known, colour of bloom, growth preferences, size and habit.
If plants are potted up well before the sale, they will be happily established by the big day.
As well as plants – Seedlings, houseplants, bulbs, and tubers are welcome.

The following donations would be much appreciated:

  • Raffle prizes
  • Used or unneeded garden tools, garden related equipment or garden ornaments.

Fliers will be put out for distribution by members.

Soil for potting up is available at Jennifer Forrest’s at 375 Chemainus Road. Look for it at the front of the property.
At the meeting the timing/schedule for the sale will be reviewed and another e-mail will go out just before the sale.

Thank you to every one who has (and is about to) volunteer for the sale.
