On Tuesday, February 11th Rose McCully will make a presentation on Orchard Mason Bees,
at the Ladysmith Library, 6:00 – 7:30. FREE.
If you know anyone who hasn’t been to a mason bee talk ( very informative and the usual Rose delight!) and is interested, please pass this on (whether they have a ticket booklet or not.) Rose will bring most of the things we need . . . affordable houses, cardboard tubes, cocoons . . . and the increased pollination after using her houses.
She usually follows through with a cocoon washing workshop in fall.
The Ladysmith Saltair Garden Club will hold its first meeting of 2014 on Thursday, January 16th, in the United Church Hall, 232 High St.
Doors will be opened at 6: 30 pm to allow for set up and membership renewals.

To make the registration process more efficient, we will have two line-ups:
1.for returning 2013 members for whom there is no contact information change.
2. for new members or those needing to update information from previous years
More time to get your membership will be available at the coffee break.
Our presenter will be Shelley Rattink who will speak on Orchids and provide a potting demonstration.
Remember to bring a mug for the break, a non perishable contribution to the food bank, membership$, library returns.
We are looking forward to another year of sharing and growth. See you on the 16th.
